A tent is the best ally that a dog backpacker can have at the time of "going to bed". Getting accommodation is not an easy task for us, either because they do not allow pets, or because it does not come within the backpacker budget. Therefore, carrying a tent in your luggage will be the best idea you can have. Pet friendly and cheap (or free) accommodation guaranteed always. Also, if you travel by hitchhiking, it will probably take you out of more than one hurry. The fact that it is so important for the dog traveler, has led me to write this section on camping.
